Short Story About Dr. Tayyab Saeed Akhter
- Born in Islamabad, Dr. Tayyab completed his matriculation and intermediate in flaying colors from Islamabad. Thereafter, he got admission in King Edward Medical College, Lahore and acquired his MBBS degree.
- Dr. Tayyab Started his clinical carrier as House Officer from Mayo Hospital, Lahore serving for one year. Then joined Govt. Service as Medical Officer, at Rural Health Center Domeli, where he served for 02 years and then jointed Holy Family Hospital, as In-Service post graduate trainee.
- He completed his 1st Fellow ship in Internal Medicine and acquired FCPS degree in 2014. After that he completed his 3 year Post Fellow ship training in Gastroenterology in 2017. Then he joined Department for Center for Liver and Digestive Diseases, Holy Family Hospital as Senior Registrar.
Dr. Tayyab started his private practice as Consultant Medical Specialist in 2015 and evolved his practice as Gastroentologist & Hepatologist.
- He has also established himself as a renowned Endoscopist & Motility disorder expert providing his services for upper GI Endoscopies, Colonoscopies & High Resolution Manometry.
- Dr. Tayyab is also involved in tutoring medical students, Doctors & Teaching Faculty. He is the pioneer of Foreign Students Academy and served more than 10 years in teaching hundreds of students who are now serving at different hospitals. Currently he is affiliated with
- University of South Wales, UK and tutor MSc & PG Dip students internationally.
- Dr. Tayyab also delivers lectures, at Regular intervals, on different CMEs at national and international levels. Dr. Tayyab is also a strong believer of public awareness and is frequently called upon as a guest Speaker on different TV Channels, Morning Shows & Radio programs. He also contributes regularly through his V-logs & You Tube channel.
- Dr. Tayyab is also the Chief Medical Officer of one of the poineer tele health organization in Pakistan-Shifa4u and is string hard to uplift the standards of health care system in Pakistan through digitalization. With his vast experience in the field of medicine and good communication skills, quality patient care is Dr. Tayyab’s top priority. Most of his patients admire him for his good reputation.
